What are your hours?
If we can't fill a room, do we have to play with strangers?

No, at the Hourglass we never put you in a room with strangers. Even if your team only has two players the room is kept private for your party only.

We do recommend having more people in your party, the more you have the more likely you will be to win.

Are we really locked in the room and is it scary?

No, due to safety concerns and fire codes you will not really be locked in. You may leave the room and return to it, but your clock will continue to count down.

This game is not scary at all just very entertaining.

We occasionally have rooms that have scarier themes but it will be advertised that way. None of our current rooms have jump scares or scary elements.

How old do you need to be to play?

All current games are designed for adults and the puzzles are too challenging for children to solve by themselves. Ages 5 and up are welcome to play along side adults.  Children 15 and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult, no exceptions!  No child under the age of 5 will be permitted into a room. All minors must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian before playing.

What happens if we don't escape, what happens if we do?

If you don't escape you can choose to be told how the game ends or choose to come back and try again another day.

Please note that if you or anyone in your room has played before you will not be eligible for the leader board.

Win or Lose you can have your picture taken at the end of your game with your team name.

If you escape in record time your team name goes up on our leader board that holds the three fastest times for each room.
